Project Derek Dog
The dogs strutt their stuff on the catwalk to raise money for Citizens for Animal Protection at The 3nd Annual Project Derek Dog at Hotel Derek. The dogs are the super models, if you know what I mean.
Pet owners and their dogs will compete for the distinction of becoming the 2010-2011 Derek Dog. Dogs are judged on personality, charm and overall appeal. No bathing suits or interview questions required. Tickets for the event are $100 which includes lunch, complimentary entry for the four-legged family member, a gift bag and more.
The winner of Project Derek Dog helps host Derek Dog Day Out happy hour events where professionals and their pooches can mix and mingle with other pet-lovers.
WHEN:
Saturday, May 8 at 11 a.m. in the Hotel Derek Ballroom.
Judging starts at 11 a.m. Lunch is at noon with the finalists on the catwalk during lunch.
