Walk on the Wild Side 2010 Celebrity Auction

A LIVE CELEBRITY auction like you’ve never seen, benefiting Cancer Counseling, Inc. presented by Bristol Stone Events and Mainstage on Main. 

On Thursday, July 22, 2010 from 5:30 to 9:00PM Cancer Counseling Inc. (CCI) will host their 1st Annual “Walk on the Wild Side” CELEBRITY Bachelor/Bachelorette Auction fund-raising event at the all-new and renovated Mainstage lounge, located at 2016 Main St. (The old Sammy's) We invite you to be a part of this fun and exciting event. You don't have to be single to enjoy this fun event. There is something for everyone! 

Twelve stunning bachelors and bachelorettes (6 each) have generously donated their time to be auctioned off to raise money to fund counseling for cancer patients. The emcee will be the fun and entertaining Special K from 104.1. You will enjoy bidding on a former bachelor contestant on the ABC show, The Bachelorette, a Houston Texan's cheerleader, a Houston Astro's baseball player and many more, this sizzling summer event is not to be missed. In addition to the sultry singles up for bid, guests will enjoy fun entertainment and mingling, appetizers and great drink specials. Then stick around for a rockin' afterparty featuring live music by Blue Finger Disco, following the auction.

For the past 28 years, CCI has made an important difference to people in our community and is the only local charity that is chartered to help 'the families' of people that are diagnosed with cancer through free professional counseling therapy for individuals, groups, and families. Profits from this occasion will help CCI to provide free professional therapy to individuals and their families in Houston struggling with the emotional effects of cancer. Each year, CCI reaches out to more than 4,000 people, offering six personal sessions and unlimited group sessions to each patient and their caregiver(s).
