CITYCENTRE, a $500-million, 37-acre mixed-use district in west Houston blossoms this spring, adding four new restaurants and additional retail to its already popular collection of eateries and boutiques.  The district encompasses 1.8-million square feet of retail, entertainment and Class A office space, several multifamily living options totaling nearly 700 units, a central plaza with fire and water features and recently debuted Hotel Sorellawww.hotelsorella-citycentre.com, the sophisticated, 244-room flagship of a new brand from Houston-based Valencia Group.

 

A Texas legacy serving fresh, homemade food, Cyclone Anaya’s Mexican Kitchen www.cycloneanaya.com introduces traditional but sophisticated recipes, family hospitality and legendary margaritas to CITYCENTRE in late spring.  Boasting a 40-year history, this Houston-based restaurant is known for its upscale menu of “Fine Mex” offerings, dramatic artistic plate presentation and striking architecture.  Opening in May, Cyclone Anaya’s is sure to bring the heat to West Houston with its fabulous food, high-energy bar and expansive patio.

 

BRIO Tuscan Grille www.brioitalian.com will present the pleasures of the Italian countryside to CITYCENTRE with a handsome and inviting space opening in April.  BRIO’s acclaimed rustic fare is simply prepared using the finest and freshest ingredients, with an emphasis on high-quality steaks, house-made pasta specialties and flatbreads prepared in an authentic Italian oven.  The experience is enhanced by BRIO’s family-style presentation, encouraging diners to escape the pressures of urban life and enjoy, “La Dolce Vita,” – the good life.

 

Ruggles Green brings environmental awareness to CITYCENTRE in June, with the opening of its second Certified Green Restaurant location in Houston.  Delicious menu items incorporate organic, all-natural, hormone-free and preservative free products.  What’s not missing, however, is the flavor!  Ruggles Green will offer a wide variety of tasty options, from soups and salads, to wood-fired pizzas, sandwiches, burgers and pasta dishes.  A recently opened Jamba Juicewww.jambajuice.com adds even more fresh and healthy fare to CITYCENTRE, with a new location of this popular smoothie shop.
