You would think that at my age I would be all grown-up, but I think the older we get the more we realize how much we really don’t know and how much more growth we still have in us! I have always considered myself a lifelong learner and have instilled the same in my two daughters. However, sometimes life throws a curveball and the type of learning and growth that must occur is much less enjoyable, yet all the more necessary. Being in this phase myself, I think I will absolutely! see ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ a second time!

If there is something more consistent in life than death and taxes, its growth. And whether you like it or not, we are constantly moving forward... Even when we think we’re going back. So why resist? Take a break, and let life drive for a while. Believe me, sitting shotgun has its perks too. Without the distraction of the road,you can finally take some time to navigate. What’s there to lose? Learn something you didn’t know was knowable. See something you didn’t know existed. Relate to someone unexpected. Chances are you’ll be happy you did it - no matter what you choose.
