Washington Wave

The Washington Wave is a shared shuttle service fully permitted by the city and falling under the “jitney” ordinance. A safer, more convenient and more efficient alternative to driving from venue to venue, The Washington Wave makes it easy to explore the entire Washington District in one night.  The City fully supports The Washington Wave and sees it as a means to alleviate traffic congestion, public safety issues and improve the quality of life for area residents.
